After qualifying from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, Birmingham, Ros worked in the Midlands at several large District General Hospitals gaining experience in all aspects of Physiotherapy including A & E, intensive care, amputees, respiratory conditions, burns and paediatrics before specialising in musculo - skeletal problems and orthopaedics.
She was a senior Physiotherapist in charge of a busy out - patient department and also worked in a private sports injury clinic.
Ros moved to the Somerset Nuffield Hospital in 1995 as the Physiotherapy Manager and split her time between treating patients and administration, lecturing and involvement nationally with the Nuffield Hospital Group.
Whilst studying for a Masters degree in Management at Exeter University, Ros realised that her true vocation lay with providing 'hands - on' treatment for patients, so she set up her own private practice in Taunton. Stonegallows Physiotherapy Clinic was opened in July 2006.
Ros has a keen interest in sports both theoretically and through personal participation which has in recent years focused around golf, badminton and cricket.
Her special interests are in the treatment of:- Headaches
- Sports and soft tissue injuries
- Arthritic conditions
- Back and Neck pain
- Pain relief using Acupuncture
