Yoga
What is it?
'Yogas citta vritti nirodhah' - yoga is the calming of the fluctuations of the mind.

Fundamentally a practice of mind, body and spirit yoga has become a popular practice in the UK, with many different styles and approaches. We teach in a more Vinyasa based approach and a clinical physiotherapists are excellently placed to teach with a little more anatomical and alignment based knowledge.

Ultimately we focus on the postures or 'Asana' which are there to build strength and develop flexibility however the depth of yoga is there to be experienced by those who wish to, if not, come for a good stretch and leave knowing you're a little bit better then when you arrived!

Our Yoga for beginners workshops focus on asana (posture) education, step by step guidance with in-depth exploration of foundational poses, Introduction to the basics of yoga, Practical tools to help you start your yoga journey with confidence including techniques for proper alignment to prevent injury and maximise benefit.
